Nickolas Wangler
Nick brings 14 years of aviation management experience to Forecast, Inc. and its clients. Throughout his career, he has been involved in airline start-ups, business planning, operations, revenue management, and market planning. Nick has worked for several airlines and served in both mid- and executive-level management positions for carriers such as Frontier Airlines, Allegiant Air, Big Sky Airlines, and Great Lakes Airlines. Nick is currently the owner of Forecast, Inc. which has worked with several smaller airlines and airports, assisting them with market planning, pricing, and revenue management.
Daryl Irby
With an MBA from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, Daryl believes that the success of any company in the travel industry rests on its technology. He leads the Forecast team at Smart, helping develop systems aimed at profitability, efficiency, and competitiveness. His career in information technology has been wide and varied, taking him from city government to the legal field, software development and beyond. He was the Director of Information Technology for Vanguard Airlines, managing their technology needs during a time of growth and change. At Vanguard, he also led the team that successfully instituted a new reservation system empowered by increased connectivity to global distribution systems. He has also worked for Airline Automation in Tucson, Arizona where he served as its Vice President of Operations until Amadeus purchased it.
Peter Hind
A graduate of the University of London, Peter joined British Midland Airways in 1993 and spent nine years at the carrier. During this time, bmi transformed itself from a domestic, regional airline into a full-service member of the Star Alliance, serving some of the key European destinations from Heathrow. At bmi, Peter held key positions in the Distribution, Industry Affairs, Pricing, Alliances, and Network Planning divisions. In 2001, Peter joined RDC Aviation -- an aviation industry software supplier and consultancy -- as Senior Consultant and is now Managing Director of the business. Peter has considerable experience in forecasting airline and airport revenues under various different business models and has worked extensively with the UK Department for Transport Analysis on long-term regional airport growth. He also advises carriers on network and fleet strategy and oversees the development of data and online services.
